World Breastfeeding Week

I can’t let World Breastfeeding Week go by without acknowledging the four years I spent as a nursing mother. We all know #fedisbest and I’m so thankful for all of the options we now have to feed our newborns. I’ll never forget how long it took for my body to start producing milk after my C-Section and how desperately I wanted to provide breast milk for my twins when they were born at 33 weeks old and in the NICU. I’m sure I’ll share more of that story when I write a blog post dedicated to nursing one day! But for now, I will share this photo of a younger me, only 3 months into my breastfeeding journey. This mom had no idea what was coming for her in the next couple years to come! And I just want to say that I am here to support any moms who want to talk about nursing and need nursing support - I’m always available for a chat!
