Living Room Play Space
One day this sitting room will have two wingback chairs, a console table with fancy lamps, and the artwork of my dreams. Michael and I will sit by the fire in the evenings, sipping our wine as we discuss the day. For now, with four kids ranging from 2.5 to 5.5, this area on our first floor serves as their play space! The basement playroom is coming along nicely, but it’s also necessary to have eyes on them while cooking meals or taking conference calls from the office.
The most adorable little playhouse arrived this week and the twins are especially loving it! I love it too because it is perfectly priced. It’s not super tall so my 5.5 year old is unable to stand inside, but my 4 year old is still able to, and so the fun begins!
Our Wobbel arrived this week too, and it’s been a huge hit, especially with my sensory seeking daughter. She loves to surf on it and I often find her just sitting there, rocking back and forth.
Our Nugget is has been so clutch in our apartment that I had to order one for our house as well. I grabbed it in cactus last summer and swapped the cover for Beanstalk during the Christmas holidays. I just love how Beanstalk works on this space so I think it’s staying this color for now!
